1. Robert AI, now open to every employee — and it can draft your travel policy from a PDF
Robert AI was previously admin-only. Not anymore. Every employee can now use it — with persistent memory across sessions and devices, and one-tap handoff to a live agent with full conversation history.
New scenarios shipped this month: - Draft a travel policy from any PDF you paste in - Auto-approval on criteria you define - Competitor price matching, inline - Save external bookings to a trip via chat
Why it matters: Every corporate travel platform has an "AI assistant" now. Robert differentiates because he takes the boring policy-drafting work off your plate. Give him your current messy PDF, get back a clean structured policy.
2. Company Budgets for virtual cards — the module that ends "email us to raise the limit"
New in Travel Code: full budget-allocation rules for virtual cards. You set limits, the system enforces them — including auto-freeze at 80% of budget so nothing surprises you at month-end. Full lifecycle (issue / replace / freeze / close) is self-serve, low-balance alerts fire automatically, and admins get a live activity feed instead of a monthly spreadsheet.
Why it matters: For the finance team that's been managing card limits by ticketing, this is the module that makes them stop.
3. The full Expenses module is live — receipts, approvals, GL sync, out-of-policy flagging
Employees submit expenses inside Travel Code now — photo or text receipt capture, admin approval, in-policy / out-of-policy tagged automatically against your rules, Excel export for accounting. Card transactions are unified into the same view.
Why it matters: Closes the last gap between "we book travel here" and "we approve the money spent on it here." No more Concur handoffs.
4. Wallet redesign — real-time withdrawals, no more email requests
Corporate card balance + Travel Code Cash in one view. Full transaction & statement history exportable to PDF. Real-time withdrawals — no more "reply to this email to move your balance." Self-serve top-up and credit-limit requests. Regional currency formatting so €12,345.67 looks right for European teams.
Why it matters: The friction points that used to require an email are now buttons.
5. CO2 / ESG reporting — emissions on every flight card, DEFRA fallback, RFP-ready
Emissions API is live. Every flight search card shows CO2 estimates. Analytics module has a dedicated metrics page for company-wide reporting. When airline-provided data isn't available, we fall back to DEFRA emission factors so you always have a number.
Why it matters: If your next RFP asks "what's your Scope 3 travel emissions methodology?" — you have an answer that doesn't require a consulting firm.
6. Car rental — Amadeus Cars live company-wide
Amadeus Cars integration is out of pilot and live for all customers. Corporate and standard rates now merged in a single search, no result narrowing. DiscoverCars retired — one clean source of truth for ground transport.
Why it matters: Ground was the last inventory gap. It's closed.
7. Departments + new policy model (in testing) — 3-level org tree with cascading policies
Beta feature you'll see graduate soon: 3-level org tree, policy assignment by department/role with priority cascade, auto-updating policies when the org changes. When someone moves teams, their travel policy updates automatically.
Why it matters: For enterprises with 200+ people and multiple business units, this is the model that removes travel policy from HR's manual-update backlog.
